Alternatives in Motion Turns 27

Alternatives in Motion has been serving the disability community in West Michigan for 27 years! With each new year, our efforts to provide mobility equipment to those in need continues to grow.

We know that these are unprecedented times and many of us feel weighed down by negativity. To battle this, we decided to highlight 27 positive things we’re looking forward to in 2020.

  1. Although the Moving People Forward luncheon has been postponed until June 3, we’re still looking forward to sharing our mission with supporters.
  2. Similarly, the Wheel Run 5K has been moved to a virtual event on July 11. We can’t wait to provide an enjoyable and inspirational experience for participants.
  3. Our Taste of AIM Open House is still planned for July 23rd. This event is our yearly favorite and gives community members a behind-the-scenes look at AIM’s warehouse.
  4. As always, we’re looking forward to seeing our client’s smiling faces.
  5. We hope to continue to host successful mobility drives in the community.
  6. Although AIM is temporarily closed, we’re anxious to open our doors again and welcome new smiling volunteers to help us continue our efforts.
