2007-2008 Charity of the Year
The Michigan Association of Student Councils (MASC) and The Michigan Association of Honor Societies (MAHS) have named us the 2007-2008 Charity of the Year. This means high school students from all over Michigan will be raising money for Alternatives in Motion. It is our hope that with the help of the MASC and MAHS we will raise $150,000 during the 2007-2008 school year. In 2004, MASC & MAHS raised over $100,000 for Alternatives in Motion.
The theme for this year’s fundraiser is “Live in Motion.” The Live in Motion campaign teaches all of us to love life, help the community, and change the world. Through the gift of mobility, we can all “Live in Motion.” Check out the “Live in Motion” Video!
Johnnie Tuitel, founder of Alternatives in Motion, will visit as many schools as possible to motivate and educate students about the mission of our organization. We are thrilled to work with the MASC & MAHS and we look forward to having fun, meeting new friends, and giving the gift of mobility. Ask your son or daughter if their school is participating in the Charity of the Year Program. If they aren’t, send an email to info@alternativesinmotion.org and we will tell you how they can start to “Live in Motion.”
