Clifford
For Clifford walking is very limited due to complications of diabetes. The scooter we provided allows Clifford the freedom to go outside and enjoy a beautiful summer day, to go to the local farmers market, or to visit with his many friends. Clifford’s new scooter was one that was donated to us and appeared to be in rough shape. After a few hours of scrubbing and polishing and a fresh set of batteries it looked like a brand new scooter again. Clifford was thrilled with the scooter and was excited to get out and about. Clifford’s story demonstrates our need for donations of new and gently used mobility equipment, with a little work and a good cleaning we are often times able to prevent this equipment from going to waste and give it to people who need it most.
