#FlashbackFriday to our client Angela’s positive spirit.
Even though living with Multiple Sclerosis prevented her from walking, making it difficult for her to even get to her classes at Calvin Theological Seminary, especially without an effective power chair, she called her condition “More Strength.”
After reaching out and receiving a new chair from us, she said, “It is exceptional to have met everyone at Alternatives in Motion. I am certain that, if it were not for More Strength, our lives may not have been touched with such a healthy richness.”
Angela, who was passionate about liturgical art, went on to become the first African-American woman to graduate from Calvin Theological Seminary.
